Personal Injury Attorney (Austin, TX — Hybrid Eligible)
Must be based in or near Austin, Texas
Ramos James Law, PLLC is an award-winning plaintiff’s personal injury firm looking for a Texas-licensed attorney with 1+ years of personal injury experience who is ready to serve as lead counsel on a litigation docket. Compensation
Total compensation package $150,000 ($125,000 - $135,000 base salary plus commission per year) dependent upon experience, references and qualifications Eligible for sign-on bonus

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Serve as lead counsel on your personal injury docket
Develop a case strategy with meaningful autonomy and team support
Conduct new client consultations with clarity and compassion
Move cases forward with urgency, ownership, and a results-driven mindset
Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery, and correspondence
Argue motions and represent clients in court
Delegate effectively while retaining full responsibility for outcomes
Resolve settlements and verdicts, including liens and disbursements
Collaborate with teammates, share wins, and support others
Identify issues and implement solutions proactively
Requirements
Based in or near Austin, TX
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active Texas Bar License
1+ years of personal injury experience
Ability to manage a heavy, fast-moving caseload
Strong research, writing, communication, and courtroom skills
Proficiency with Dropbox, Slack, Google tools, case management systems, and AI tools
Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
Team-first, humble, supportive approach
Commitment to compassionate and urgent client communication
