Seasons Law P.C., an award-winning law firm in Northern California, is seeking an attorney with experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration law. You will:

• Draft estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
• Research and prepare legal memoranda and opinions, strategy recommendations, mediation briefs, and settlement agreements
• Draft probate/conservatorship petitions and make court appearances
• Analyze California case law, legislation, and local court rules
• Meet with clients for intake appointments relating to estate planning, trust/estate administration, and probate matters
• Answer client estate and trust questions, including reviewing the will/trust and analyzing it in light of each unique client circumstance (e.g. family dynamics, financial situations, etc.)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files (digital and hard-copy)
• Work collaboratively to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely client service
• Seek opportunities to improve your skills and expertise

Requirements

• Completed Juris Doctor degree
• Licensed to practice law in California
• Minimum1-3 years (3-5 preferred) legal experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters
• Excellent legal advocacy, research, and writing skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Analytical and organizational skills; Detail-oriented

• Flexibility with the types of matters assigned
• Although on-site presence is preferred for this role, remote work may be considered based on qualifications.
