Description

Kraus Jenkins is looking for an attorney with 7-10 years of litigation experience to join its Pittsburgh-based litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have trial or other significant courtroom experience and ability. The focus of the position will be representation of individual and corporate health care clients in civil litigation and government investigation matters. Experience with or strong interest in white collar criminal litigation and investigations is a plus. This is an opportunity for direct client responsibility, and near term growth into a lead role in significant litigation matters. The candidate should have superior research and writing skills, and proficiency with trial practice and rules of procedure. Admission to the Pennsylvania bar is required; West Virginia and Virginia bar admission would be a bonus.

Our healthcare practice encompasses a broad range of complex matters, including defense of healthcare providers against allegations of malpractice, response to governmental investigations, defense of claims under the False Claims Act, and representation of hospitals in proceedings to appoint guardians for patients who lack capacity to make their own decisions.
