Description
Legal Associate - Hong KongOur client, a leading hedge fund in the APAC region, is seeking a Legal Associate to join their growing team in Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage KYC/AML processes and conduct due diligence on counterparties and vendors
- Oversee account openings and maintain corporate records
- Draft and review legal documentation, including NDAs, vendor agreements, and fund-related documents
- Support board and committee meetings with preparation and recordkeeping
- Collaborate with Operations and Finance teams on documentation and compliance matters
- Contribute to process improvements, including leveraging AI tools
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in legal, KYC/AML, or fund/corporate law
- Legal qualification preferred but not mandatory
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Native-level English proficiency is essential
