The Department of Psychology at the College of Liberal arts and Sciences, Northern Illinois University (NIU), invites applications for Statewide Program Director for the Department of Children and Family Services Early Childhood Court Team.
The Early Childhood Court Team (ECCT) Statewide Program Director is a full-time salaried position with full benefits. Under a Contract with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (IDCFS), the Program Director provides professional, administrative and support functions including, the development, design, delivery, management, support and evaluation of all Early Childhood Court Team activities.
NIU is looking for licensed Social Workers (LCSW), Counselors (LCPC), and Clinical Psychologists who are interested in serving as Program Director for a dynamic staff of professionals and who will oversee program evaluation, development, and expansion with selected Family Court Systems in Illinois. The ECCT Program Director works a hybrid schedule which can be negotiated, some in person work is mandatory at the courthouse in Rockford and Chicago. Competitive benefits package. Salary Range $95,000 to $100,000

Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in Social Work or other recognized professional degree in human services.
- State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
- Professional experience of five (5) or more years in a public-sponsored, direct child welfare/mental health services, including child welfare Intake, Intact Family Services, Permanency/Foster Care Services.
- At least three (3) or more years of supervisory experience of child welfare direct service staff and/or management of child welfare services.
- Experience in child welfare,
- Experience in the utilization and implementation of evidence informed practices in child welfare environments
- Experience in the training of staff.
