Description
The office of Adams County Prosecuting Attorney is accepting resumes from persons interested in future appointment as Deputy Prosecuting Attorney. Duties may include prosecution of District Court criminal matters, juvenile criminal matters, civil legal services to county departments, and Superior Court felony practice, depending on experience.
Applicants must have graduated from an accredited law school, must be a member in good standing of the Washington State Bar Association, and have a valid Washington State Driver’s License. Prior criminal and/or municipal experience is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Salary range is $97,635.36 to $113,025.13 annually, depending on qualifications. Benefits include 11 holidays, plus two floating holidays; vacation and sick leave; medical, dental, vision and life insurance with employer contribution; participation in Washington State Retirement Fund; optional AFLAC enrollment; and eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.

Requirements
Candidates must be a member in good standing of the Washington State Bar Association. Must have a valid Washington State Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one prior to the start date. Oral and written communication skills are essential. Prior prosecution experience not required.
