Description
We are hiring! O’Diam & Estess Law Group is seeking a fulltime associate attorney for our Dayton area law firm. This is an excellent opportunity with a rapidly growing firm that will provide development and mentorship for the ideal candidate.
Our three attorneys focus their practice on estate planning, trust and probate law, as well as elder law and special needs planning. We are a small firm with less than 15 employees.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting meetings with clients and providing legal advice related to estate planning, estate administration, guardianships and elder law matters.
- Drafting and/or reviewing estate planning documents
- Working with clients and case workers to process client Medicaid applications
- Researching and preparing deeds and other transfer documents
- Assisting clients with asset coordination/trust funding
- Assisting clients with Guardianship matters, including preparing and/or reviewing probate pleadings.
- Assisting clients with estate and trust administration matters, including preparing and/or reviewing probate and trust documents
A qualified candidate must be a self-starter, with a strong desire to learn, and be someone who is motivated to work independently after proper training. The ideal candidate should have an excellent eye for detail, display strong organizational and time management skills, and have a willingness to be a problem solver and think outside the box. Our preferred candidate must also possess excellent people skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. Previous law firm experience is preferred, but not required.
