We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Associate Attorney to support our growing medical malpractice defense practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated lawyer to gain courtroom exposure and contribute meaningfully to client outcomes under the mentorship of experienced trial attorneys. There is opportunity for financial promotion or bonus based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Assist with case development and trial preparation, including substantial work with written and oral discovery.
• Participate in court hearings, depositions, and civil jury trials.
• Collaborate with partners and staff to develop case strategies and manage client communications.

Requirements

Licensed to practice law in Illinois (or ability to gain admission promptly).
Experience with civil jury trials is preferred, particularly in medical malpractice or related civil defense matters.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent organizational aptitude and attention to detail.
A commitment to client-centered, aggressive legal defense.
