Compensation: $ 122,290.64 - $ 130,727.02

Position Overview:
The School of business seeks a full-time tenure track Assistant Professor to teach a variety of courses in the legal environment, to begin Fall 2026.
Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for effective teaching, research, service, and advising. Specific responsibilities will include teaching introductory, core, and advanced level courses in the legal environment of business to undergraduate students including, for example, employment law, contract law and other topics relevant to business. Responsibilities will also include service on department, school, and college-level committees, and advising undergraduate majors and pre-law students.
- The successful candidate must (a) demonstrate an ability to provide highly effective teaching, (b) be committed to conducting research and publishing in peer-reviewed journals or law review journals consistent with the standards of the AACSB, (c) advise and mentor students, and (d) engage in service to the college community. The School of Business particularly values student-centered and innovative teaching approaches and expects faculty to conduct active, engaged classrooms.
- Candidates should be committed to further enhancing our collegial environment among all students and faculty demonstrated through culturally responsive course design and pedagogy, equity-minded student engagement and mentorship, and the development of intercultural competencies needed for meaningful citizenship.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Juris Doctorate or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Teaching experience in undergraduate, law school, professional or other settings.
